Surf & Tide-race's - £195 with a 1:4 ratio

Surf and Tide-race paddling is just that, working and playing in the waves. If its windy , we have the option of beach surfing or a down wind paddle on the impressive and unique Menai Straits, or if calm we head for one of the many tide races and overfalls Anglesey has to offer.   With a ratio of 1: 4, so you get more support and guidance.  Aimed at top end Intermediate Sea Kayak Award (3*), Moderate and Advanced paddlers.

It is desirable,  that you can roll, due to the dynamic nature of surf and the environments we will be paddling in. Due to using more explosive energy to catch a wave, or maintaining a down wind run, this is an intensive and sustained course. An Ideal weekend for those who have need more time to explore the dynamics of wave surfing.

Experience the thrill of catching a wave, refine those skills, developing greater control, stretch your comfort zone and have fun at the same time.

"I've just completed a two day 4* Sea kayak training course with Roger. Having been coached by Roger in the past, I choose to do this course with Roger because I knew I would get a great deal from the course. My expectations were certainly well and truly met"

Stella King

"There are a number of wonderful things about Roger. He has a very light touch in his coaching, and he's always smiling and encouraging you to relax into the enjoyment of the day"

Tavi Murray

"And I'm probably learning more from his mentoring now, as my paddling horizons expand, than ever before. I can't count how many questions I've asked... and he's answered. Roger has the knack of making that suggestion that radically changes your thinking and moves your paddling on in leaps and bounds."

Thanks for a great weekend.  We were really impressed with the way you ran the course and that it felt 'tailored' just for us.  We both really enjoyed ourselves and Chris has definitely got the bug.  Many thanks.
