Moderate Sea Kayaking (MSK) Course

2-5 days, beginning at £180

2 days at £180; 3 days at £250; 4 days at £300 and 5 days at £350

With this course you will hold the 3 star sea award, or have similar skills and ability.  So you are able to roll (on flat water) can paddle in F3 winds, 1mt swell, have a good level of fitness and have done day paddles independently from a coach and guide.

Moderate Sea Kayaking (MSK) aims to work specifically with your wants and needs to the point the course, is largley structured by you.  Consider what you need to top up, in a dynamic environment.   Is it rescue and incident management in bigger water and rougher conditions? Maybe you feel you cant do this with the people you padlle with? or personal performance skills such as surfing and rough water handeling.  Either way you will leave more confident, with new skills, ability and strategies.

MSK is run at various times throughout the year, and as long as there is two people the course will go ahead. The longer the course the more opportunity you have to experience different conditions around Anglesey and increase your ability, knowledge and confidence.

Simon Turnbull

"I've just completed a two day 4* Sea kayak training course with Roger. Having been coached by Roger in the past, I choose to do this course with Roger because I knew I would get a great deal from the course. My expectations were certainly well and truly met"

Tavi Murray

"And I'm probably learning more from his mentoring now, as my paddling horizons expand, than ever before. I can't count how many questions I've asked... and he's answered. Roger has the knack of making that suggestion that radically changes your thinking and moves your paddling on in leaps and bounds."

Stella King

"There are a number of wonderful things about Roger. He has a very light touch in his coaching, and he's always smiling and encouraging you to relax into the enjoyment of the day"
